Through stories, assignments, and room for personal memories, students discover not only the collection, but also themselves and each other.  <\/p><p class=\"p1\"><b>Tailor-made educational programs \u2013 Zandvoorts Museum<br\/><\/b>The Zandvoorts Museum offers tailor-made programs for both lower and upper grades of primary education. We align with the theme the class is currently working on and, together with the teacher, translate this into a suitable museum program. <\/p><p class=\"p1\"><b>Program structure<\/b><\/p><ol class=\"ol1\"><li class=\"li1\">Preparatory lesson at school<br\/>In preparation for the visit, there is a short introductory lesson in the classroom. Here, students become acquainted with the theme and start thinking about their own experiences and memories. <\/li><li class=\"li1\">Introduction in the museum<br\/>In the museum, students are welcomed with a story in the gallery and view the still lifes that tell the story of Zandvoort from Fishing Village to Seaside Resort. This story forms the bridge between their own experience and the museum&#8217;s collection. <\/li><li class=\"li1\">Group assignment in the museum<br\/>The students split into small groups with an assignment in the form of stories or paintings and drawings that relate to the chosen theme. They investigate, discover, and collaborate around artworks and objects in the museum. <\/li><li class=\"li1\">Circle discussion and sharing of stories<br\/>The program concludes with a joint circle discussion or an exhibition of the &#8216;objects&#8217; created. The students share their discoveries and stories. Here, the emotional component is given space: memories, feelings, and personal associations make the museum visit meaningful and memorable.  <\/li><\/ol><p class=\"p1\"><strong>Why this program?<\/strong><br>The Zandvoorts Museum wants to not only let children look, but also let them feel and remember.
