Marlène Sjerps Sculptures

From January 31 to May 25, 2026, the Zandvoorts Museum will be dedicated to the expressive sculpture of Marlène Sjerps. In the Sculpture Now! exhibition, the Zandvoort artist will present a selection of her most characteristic bronze sculptures.

Sjerps is known for sculptures in which strength and vulnerability go hand in hand. Her work makes emotions tangible and invites the visitor to reflect on the beauty of imperfection and the power of human existence. The exhibition also brings back some iconic sculptures that were previously on display along the Zandvoort boulevard and show a strong connection with the sea and the surrounding area.

With Sculpture Now!, the Zandvoorts Museum pays tribute to an artist who has played a prominent role in both the local and national art world for decades.
