The Zandvoort Museum will be closed on August 21, 22, and 23 during the Formula 1 races at Circuit Zandvoort.
Zandvoort Inaccessible by Car
From 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, until 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, both access roads to Zandvoort will be closed to motorized traffic. You can only reach the village via Zandvoortselaan if you have a Zandvoort access pass.
Train Service and Railroad Crossings
NS has adjusted the schedule for the Formula 1 weekend. Extra trains will run between Amsterdam and Zandvoort on August 21, 22, and 23. We expect increased crowds at the stations in Haarlem. Just like last year, the three railroad crossings along the Amsterdam–Haarlem–Zandvoort route will be closed all weekend, including in the evenings and at night. This closure begins on Thursday, August 20, at 8:00 p.m. and lasts until no later than Monday, August 24, at 5:00 a.m. Detours have been set up for each of the three railroad crossings.
