Interview

On October 2, the acting director of Zandvoorts Museum, Fokelien Renckens- Stenneberg, along with Judith van Gent, head of the Amsterdam Museum collection, were interviewed by NH Nieuws. A report of this visit can be read here. The recordings took place in Zandvoorts Museum because Amsterdam Museum is currently being renovated. The video ‘Paintings from Amsterdam Museum go on loan’ is now available to watch online at NH Nieuws.
Amsterdam Museum Renovation

The main location of the Amsterdam Museum is housed in a beautiful monumental building in the city center on Kalverstraat: the former Burgerweeshuis (Orphanage). Amsterdam Museum is being renovated and will open in 2028. The museum is temporarily located on the Herengracht in Amsterdam.
Zandvoorts Museum New Building

Initially, recordings were made for the story about Amsterdam Museum, but the relocation of Zandvoorts Museum to the new building shows parallels. This is highlighted in the video report. On November 16, the video will be shown on NH Nieuws on TV from 5:10 PM. NH Nieuws can be seen on Ziggo on channel 30 and on KPN on channel 509. After that, the video can also be viewed online.
