The official opening of Zandvoorts Museum took place on September 19, 2025. Karina Tan, chair of the board, welcomed everyone. Director Fokelien Renckens-Stenneberg spoke about the museum’s new layout and the four new exhibitions.
Alderman Gert-Jan Bluijs reflected on the origins of the building, which initially housed the HDMZ of artist Jan Beelen. He is pleased that the building has once again been given a cultural purpose. The museum was festively opened to the opera sounds of soprano Belinda Vermeer and the children of Dance Academy from Zandvoort.
