The history of Zandvoort is widely discussed through interactive collection management, organized walks through the old center of the village and the heritage learning path for primary schools. In the permanent exhibitions The Life of Memories and 200 years of Club Love, the nostalgia of old Zandvoort can be found. The Zandvoorts Museum would like to add to the history of Zandvoort with your help.

Write a story about a woman, man, family, community or about a place, an event that has meant something to Zandvoort and enrich the story of this coastal village. Perhaps your story is about the fishermen’s wives who mended the nets, the boarding house owners who received the first bathers, or the resistance fighters who risked their lives during the war. The form of the story is completely free: a poem, a letter, a short story or a personal memory.

All stories, if possible with an image, will be published here on the website and included in the collection about the history of Zandvoort!

Participate!

It would be great if you also participate to enrich the story of Zandvoort! The Zandvoorts Museum collects the stories, so that the people, the places and the events that have shaped Zandvoort become visible and audible.

All these stories become part of the museum collection.

Everyone can participate. The form of the story is completely free: write a short story, a poem, a letter or share a memory.
