Yvonne van Dillen gives guided tours of the Zandvoorts Museum on Wednesday afternoons.
In addition, Yvonne regularly gives guest lectures at high schools. She also recently gave a guest lecture on the topic “Age as an Achievement” at the University of Amsterdam for a group of Canadian students. The students were very enthusiastic about her inspiring story and the way she spoke about active aging and social engagement.
After the lecture, the Canadian students were invited to take a guided tour of the Zandvoort Museum. During the tour, Yvonne spoke enthusiastically about the collection, the history of Zandvoort, and her volunteer work at the museum. The students greatly appreciated the combination of the guest lecture and the museum visit, which gave them a unique introduction to both the theme “Age as an Achievement” and Zandvoort’s cultural heritage.
