Photographer Ellen van Dam exhibits her beach photographs in the MuseumCafé from April 11 to May 25, 2026.
Shaped by time, salt, and movement, the beach reveals its hidden stories. Objects have been transformed by the sea into silent sculptures. Erosion has softened sharp edges, deepened colors, and exposed unexpected patterns.
My photographs are about getting bruised along the way, being damaged, cast aside,
lost, and yet retaining their own luster, or even gaining from it.
